The network provides high quality rainfall data for hydrologic research. Our network operates seasonally, the nominal period is March through November. At each of the 37 sites, there are
two tipping-bucket rain gaugesthat report in real time. Data are updated every 15 minutes. We also report ground temperature. However, this temperature is not the actual soil temperature but is instead measured inside of the rain gauge platform. Soon, we plan to add measurements of soil moisture. For more information about the network please contact
Prof. Witold Krajewski or
Prof. Anton Kruger. We are grateful to all the land owners who host our equipment. Thank you for supporting science!
